What we do
No treatment coordinators, no packages. If a tooth is fine, we say so and send you home — roughly a third of our new-patient visits end that way.

Check-ups, repairs, and everything that keeps a mouth healthy day to day.

Enamel-safe brightening and bonding, shaped by hand to look like it was always there.

A digital plan you preview before committing, with check-ins until it settles.

Guided placement and same-day milled ceramics, colour-matched while you wait.
Learn moreThe studio
We moved into the old harbourmaster's building in 2011 and kept the tall windows. Treatment rooms face the water, headphones are on every chair, and the drill you can hear from the waiting room has been sound-isolated since the renovation.
Who you'll meet
Principal Dentist
Restorative and implant dentistry. Sixteen years, and still the one who explains everything twice.
Orthodontist
Aligners and early-intervention care. Believes most teenagers just want to know when it's over.
Lead Hygienist
Gentle scaling, patient education, and the softest hands in the building. Ask for her.
“I put off the dentist for nine years. Dr. Hale went through the whole plan on paper first and did the easiest thing on the list that same morning. I've not missed an appointment since.”
“They found a crack I'd been ignoring, told me it could wait until spring, and then actually let it wait until spring. Nobody tried to sell me a smile.”
“My son counted the fish on the ceiling for the whole cleaning and asked when we were coming back. That has never happened anywhere else.”
“Chipped a front tooth on a Tuesday morning. Someone texted me back before I'd finished parking, and it was fixed by lunch.”
“The aligner plan came with a preview of the end result and a fairly blunt note about what wouldn't change. I appreciated the honesty more than the render.”

Visits
New patients start with a 45-minute assessment — scan, photographs, and a written plan you take home. $120, or covered in full by most plans.
Prefer not to book a specific time yet? Just leave your details and we'll call you back.

Questions
We scan the tooth and show you the image on screen. If enough healthy structure is left, a filling is the smaller, cheaper answer and we'll say so. A crown is for when the tooth needs holding together.
Two slots are held open every morning for pain, a cracked tooth or a lost filling. Call before 10am and we'll usually see you the same day.
Tell us at the door. Nothing sharp comes near before we've talked it through sitting up, numbing gel goes on before every injection, and you can stop at any point by raising a hand.
You get a written estimate after the assessment, itemised, with the option of doing nothing listed alongside the rest. Nothing is booked until you've read it.
Yes — first visits for children are mostly counting teeth and choosing a toothbrush, and we're happy to run them back-to-back with yours so it's one trip.
