What it is
A new front surface, not a new tooth.
Veneers are thin porcelain facings bonded to the front of the teeth to change shape, shade or alignment. They are irreversible — a small amount of enamel is removed — so the planning matters more than the fitting. You'll see and wear a preview before we prepare a single tooth.

Consultation, prep, then the reveal.

Consultation: photographs, scans, and an honest conversation about whether veneers or straightening is the right tool.

A trial smile — a temporary mock-up worn over your own teeth for a few days, so you can live with the shape.

Preparation: minimal enamel reduction, then temporaries while the porcelain is made.

Fitting: each veneer tried in with a trial paste, checked in daylight, then bonded.

A review two weeks later to check the bite and the gums.
Questions
Asked about this one, most often.
Is it reversible?+
No. Enamel doesn't grow back, so once prepared the teeth will always need something on them. That's why we spend a whole visit on the mock-up.
How long do they last?+
Ten to fifteen years with care. Grinding shortens that considerably, so a night guard usually comes with them.
Do I have to do all my front teeth?+
Not necessarily, but matching a single veneer to natural neighbours is harder than doing a set. We'll tell you which case yours is.
