What it is
Replacing what's missing, protecting what's left.
A crown is a ceramic cap that covers a tooth too damaged to hold a filling. A bridge is the same idea spanning a gap, anchored to the teeth either side. Both are shaped from your scan and milled here, so the colour is chosen with your face in the room rather than posted to a lab and hoped for.
What to expect
From impression to fit.

A scan of the tooth and its neighbours — no impression putty.

The tooth is prepared: reshaped so the crown sits flush rather than proud.

Shade matching at the window, in daylight, against the teeth beside it.

The crown is milled while you wait, then tried, adjusted and bonded.

Complex cases go to our lab technician, with a temporary crown in the meantime.
Questions

How long does a crown last?+
Ten to fifteen years is typical, longer if you don't grind. If you do grind, we'll talk about a night guard in the same appointment.
Will it look obviously false?+
Ceramic is layered and translucent like enamel. The giveaway is usually colour, which is why the match happens in daylight with you sitting up.
Crown or filling?+
If enough healthy tooth is left to hold a filling, a filling is the smaller and cheaper answer and we'll say so.
